There seems to be a lot of sexual dysfunction going on our there.  I read and hear about it more these days, then 10 years ago.  I do have to admit,  that, even back 10 years, I was hearing about the use of Viagra.  The side effects in itself should scare people.  So, for those of you who need to put some Hubba Hubba back into your life, I am going to make some suggestions.  Of course please note, that I am not a doctor, if you have health issues, I do have to tell you that you should seek medical advice.  But,  I will tell you what I would do in the event there was issues with my libido.  

For me,  I would not seek advise from a western doctor because of a  low libido.  There are many alternative care (ND) that could give you some great information on this issue, so if I did not have the knowledge of what to do that would be the direction that I would go.  The second direction I would go is research it myself, come to my conclusions on what to do, by using alternative methods, holistic methods, like herbs and letting food by my medicine.  

Second, if you are on any prescription drugs, make sure that the herbs that I am about to recommend do not react with them.  You should also check the side effects of the prescriptions that you are taking, to see if they take away from your sexual desire.  If they do, it would be best to go back to your doctor and see if they can change it or wean you off of it.  If they disagree, go get second and third opinion.  I would even go, as far to say, that you could benefit from finding an MD, that will support, herbs and holistic approaches to helping you.  There are a few out there.  

 Most prescription drugs are prescribe do to sick issues that can be cured through changing your diet.  One example is high blood pressure.  I have heard many times through the years,  of people getting  high blood pressure and they blame it on their genetics.  One-hundred percent of the time I have people tell me, it runs in their family, therefore they now have high blood pressure.  I have yet to hear someone tell me, they have high blood pressure and it was caused by their diet.  

If you have genetic tendency's to have blood pressure, cardio-vascular disease, colon cancer, breast cancer etc, then it is up to you to keep those genes turned off.  You can keep those genes turned off for the rest of your life.   If you eat out, eat fast food, like going to Izzy's Pizza, Moe's, Mexican Food, drink pop, drink beer, eat to much sugar, eat fried foods, eat foods with hydrogenated oil, eat foods with canola oil, eat artificial colors, nitrate laden foods and toxic food additives weekly, then, YES, YOU WILL WAKE UP YOUR GENETIC TENDENCY'S.   YOU WILL GET ANY OF THE ABOVE    DISEASES, DUE TO YOUR WAY OF LIFE

What has failed you is your, inability to recognize that you created that high blood pressure due to YOUR life style habits that have been passed on from the last generation. 

Making a tea that could increase your libido is not the only thing you should do.  Your body is telling you something, if it is not working efficiently.  Your body is telling you that it needs more nutrition and how you eat will affect your libido, especially as you get older.  If you want your libido to stay young and strong,  then you are going to have to eat for it.   If your husband is slower these days and he is eating lunch meat, bacon, fast food and monster drinks, then you both need to sit down and discuss what changes in your life style,that you are going to make to increase his libido. and the same for you wife.  

Here are a few things that you should be adding to your daily intake to keep you ,"Hubba Hubba Strong"

Your body needs good fats, fats to incorporate into your diet:

Grass fed beef, grass fed organic butter, organic coconut oil, organic cold pressed olive oil, flaxseeds that you grind yourself,  soaked and dehydrated organic nuts and seeds and avocados.    Make homemade salad dressings to serve on your salads.  I would even start the day with a salad with homemade salad dressing.

Greens, Oranges and Reds you have got to eat lots of  varieties of veggies throughout the day.   Eating tomatoes and peppers everyday is not the variety that I am talking about.  Check out what is in season at the farmers market and add it to your weekly menus.

This weeks Wellness Letter will be different subjects that are in the same category.  Recently an article was released about our  oceans.  The title of the article was, Ocean Is Broken, link below:

This article was passed around by many people.  I was really surprised by the comments.  The reason I was surprised was the fact that it SURPRISED  people.    People really did not know that the ocean is broken?   I was beside myself and for the last few days I would ponder this subject in my head as I took my walks up the mountain in the morning.  I  asked myself the questions listed below, but I had no answer.  

Remember if our Ocean is broken, it means for most of you, that your bodies are broken. These environmental toxins  create disease in you and your children for many generations.  

The questions were this, Didn't people hear about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch?  Plastic in birds bellies?  Plastic tangled in jelly fish? Plastic in marine life?  Didn't they hear about all the different oil spills, and all the toxic cancer causing chemicals they used to supposedly clean it up?  How about how the chemicals they use to put out forest fires?  Don't people know that chemical conventional agriculture puts poison in waterways?  I thought most people knew this, did they just stick their head in the sand?  Did they really think that our corrupt government would fix something that they allow?  

Do people think that all the consuming of things  that they do not need just magically disappear when they are done with them, when they break, etc.   These Walmart, big box stores are nothing more than I want factories that had sad humans in bad circumstances make for them  in countries that are so polluted, that people die daily of respiratory issues.  

10 years ago there was a dump site the size of Texas floating around in the ocean.  We now have more dump sites the size of Texas floating in the ocean.  I know most people heard these reports.

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, also described as the Pacific Trash Vortex, is a gyre of marine debris in the central North Pacific Ocean  The patch extends over an indeterminate area, with estimates ranging very widely depending on the degree of plastic concentration used to define the affected area.

The patch is characterized by exceptionally high concentrations of pelagic plastics, chemical sludge and other debris that have been trapped by the currents of the North Pacific Gyre Despite its size and density, the patch is not visible from satellite photography, since it consists primarily of suspended particulates in the upper water column. Since plastics break down to even smaller polymers, concentrations of submerged particles are not visible from space, nor do they appear as a continuous debris field. Instead, the patch is defined as an area in which the mass of plastic debris in the upper water column is significantly higher than average.  Most people know about this.

 Then there is the popular report for the last several years of birds having bellies full of plastic.  Most people know about this.

Then there was the many different oils spills.  Then there was the tons and tons of dispersant agents laid over the oceans. Again most people know about this and I can't tell you how many reports that I have read for the last few years about different sea animals washing ashore with repository issues, burns etc..

Then there is chemical agriculture, black death is what I call it, or the plague.  A slow kill of many many years of  accumulation, a toxic cocktail that eventually ends in the ocean.  I now this one, because I have been plagued with this black death cloud over me for years, with a combination of many other petroleum products.  

The other petroleum products.  The daily products that most people use on their bodies and in their house.  The same products pollute and yes eventually end up in the ocean. 

And now we have Fukushima... Our oceans were already broken, due to our lack of care and concern, before this tragic event.  How can the oceans recover?  

Bees are dying off and the ocean is broken, Rachel Carson's book Silent Spring is about to become a reality.  So, people were surprised at the fact that the "Ocean Is Broken"?.

 Are people willing to change yet?  Because none of the above toxic situations that I mentioned created enough change to stop the death of our ocean.  People just read their articles, post it, said it was sad, and no change happened.   We as a nation consume like locusts eating a farmers field to death.  Americans for the most part are locusts.  They are on a feeding frenzy, with no end in-site, until nature' throws it, in their face.  But by the time nature throw's this in the face of the people it will be to late.  Dead water means death to most.  No bees, no food, means death...

SOLUTION NUMBER ONE:  GET RID OF THE I WANTS.. ON THAT NOTE.. 

  

We have a lot of holidays coming up.  These holidays are toxic to the earth's land and oceans,  it's creatures big and micro-small, not to mention human bodies.  

The first holiday, (if you can call it that) is Halloween,  a very toxic holiday.  It is full of mega waste.  It can be very toxic to your body,  and very hard on the earth.  Think about it for a minute.  Just walk through the costume section, everything is made of plastic and petroleum.  Both extremely bad for the earth and you.  Can you imagine what kind of pollution comes from those factories that make all this junk? I Can .....All those small plastic tubes of fake blood, paint and gooew in the trash. All that fake spider webbing, plastic spiders, also end up in the trash .  All that toxic candy, with all the plastic coated candy wrappers and packaging.   When you look how much of the  population that celebrates Halloween you can see how many tons, millions of tons of trash it creates.  I am sure you can see how much waste Christmas creates.  

The kids paints are toxic, I know they say non-toxic but they are far from that.  The costumes are full of extremely toxic products.  Let's look at the waste that this holiday brings.  Glow sticks, glow necklaces, bracelets, gadgets, blow ups, plastic noisy things and a plethora of Halloween products eventually all end up in the dump.  Dumped in a dump that eventually leaches out into ground water and/or dumped into the ocean.  Let's not forget all the pollution that was made creating all of this junk.  

So far what Halloween is about is ... I WANT ..

Then there is the health issues.  I have first hand experience of what  Halloween can do to a 3 year old.  The day after Halloween, I was in 2 ambulances, two hospitals and a week of ICU.  It was brutally scary.  I know now, what created this situation, and I am forever grateful that I did not loose my daughter. What it did do was put me on the path to seek total holistic wellness.   

Your body gets attacked by the off gassing of these Halloween products that it absorbs from these plastic/petrolatum products.  All of these products leach chemicals.   Halloween leaves you with a body  full of petroleum.

Then there is the candy.  First of all, Halloween teaches kids to go to strangers houses and ask for candy.  Wrong message.  The candy that is given out for Halloween is so toxic that will literally feed cancer cells.  It is full of GMO's, artificial colors, artificial flavors, petroleum and hydrogenated oil.  All of these ingredients create, ADD/ADHD, hyper-activity, depression and many other emotional issues.  You could literally feel like you have a hang-over, after a night of binging on Halloween candy.  Then there is the problem that it just killed your good gut bugs.

How can you keep your Halloween from being toxic?  There are many things you can do, but it takes strength, courage and the willingness to be different.  By having the willingness to be different and setting goals of a healthier Halloween, it could possibly rub off on your friends and together you can create a light impact or no impact on your health, your kids and the earth.  

We are at a  very, very critical point in our human lives.  If you, your family and friends are not radically changing, then our world will be lost.  Science and our corrupt gooberment will not fix this.  They will act like they are, by taxing you or taking freedoms away from you.  But, they will protect the big box and big corporations, bad science, toxic bio-technology, toxic nanotechnology, and Monsanto till death do they part.

Ask yourself, your family, your friends this question.  Why do you ( or we as a population) feel like we have to purchase things to just have fun?  Is there any other way to have fun?  What can you do to create holidays that aim for zero waste?  At least aiming for zero waste, even if you do not hit that goal, will eliminate a lot of toxic trash and eliminate a lot of plastic waste etc... 

The Good:   You can close them down, meaning big box corporations, toxic corporations, by the power of not spending your dollars on "I WANTS".  These  toxic corporations stay in business, because they count on your addiction to spending on  "I WANTS".  

Our oceans, rivers, skies and soil can recover, but we need to have a rapid change of what we do in our daily lives.  We need to change our habits immediately!   I would also suggest that we stop fishing for at least 5 years.   Let the ocean's start the healing process, by not interrupting it's circle of life.  I can hear you now, what about the fishermen's income?  I suggest we pay them for their losses of not fishing for the next 5 years.  But, in order for these fishermen to get paid, they have to put their time into their community around them.   After the five years, we can re-evaluate the ocean and see if we can allow fishing, or will it need a few more years to heal.  

The next thing for the ocean, skies and soil is that all factories that have toxic waste be shut down.  Period.  All of these factory's are allowed to dump a certain amount of waste daily or weekly into the water ways.  All they  have to due is pay a fee to the gooberment to pollute.   This has to stop immediately. 

Conventional farming, needs to be outlawed.   It pollutes our soil, ground water, creeks, streams rivers and eventually ends up in the ocean.  We need to start a transition program (no corporations allowed to help with this) to organic and permaculture practices for our food.   Farmers need financial aid and education to slowly transition out of chemical agricultural.  Again, this is something that we need to start slowly but immediately.  The reason why it has to be in baby-steps is because most of these farmers only know how to grow food with chemicals.  If they all of a sudden can't grow food the way that they are used to, we could have a lot of hungry people due to failure in crops.   

The Oceans will become dead, rivers will be mad water, the sky will never be fresh again.  Time is ticking, the bomb is set, don't you think you should put your best foot forward and start the change.  The power starts with you.  Spend less, buy  true local (your local Walmart is not a local business), eat organic and support true small business.

Inspiration... Motivation... Change...

Tonight, I am inspired to write about inspiration.... Motivation.

These words speak to me tonight as I sun gazed this evening, I felt inspired by all the beauty of the colors of the sunset and the brilliant colors of autumn . Tonight seemed special outside, I felt as though nature had given me more daylight time this evening. I felt, as though I went through a slow time warp, that I was able to enjoy a longer evening outside before it became dark. Something was more awake. There was a joyful energy going on with the beautiful colors of autumn. When I came in, the candle on the kitchen table, its flame so golden and full of light,  these golden lights and fall colors have spoken to me and  filled my heart with inspiration and love. Life is beautiful, it is what we make of it, you can make it dull, sad, depressed, full of anxiety, no change do to no action from you, which creates your energy to lack of all things that inspire.

You can inspire yourself to smile, move, give, love, help, eat healthy, exercise and motivate change in your life. Inspiration .. To effect... To guide yourself or others to add all things into life that give harmony to your soul... Inspire... To arouse by divine influence.... To fill with enlivening.. To stimulate to action, a plan of happiness, movement of the body, a plan to create community... MOTIVATE... To be the cause or source to bring about beautiful change to our world, your world... Inspire change, by starting with you, this will give our world what it needs. The inspiration has to start with you, be the guide of inspiration, this energy will arouse divine influence enlivening, stimulating others into action... Your positive change for this world, a change that takes care of this world through your choices, these choices are the real vote, not a false paper vote, your choice, a voice due to your loving action will be the cause to bring about the change that we all need as humans. The loving inspiration starts with you... I can only hope I have motivated you to elect yourself, put yourself down on the ballot as the person who will make the change through, making changes in your life, the effects of this vote, the vote that you decided to take part will touch others.

Kids Bringing Lunch From Home

I have been hearing about how schools (including pre-school) are starting to implement a rule that children can not bring their lunches from home. This is absolutely absurd, wrong, terrible and I can go on and on about how bad this is. This is just another rule about taking freedom away from the American people and parents. I also saw some of the most disconnected comments from people. Examples are: the gooberment must be doing this to protect the kids who have food allergies. WHAT? That comment is so far down into la la land it is incredible! You are talking about a gooberment that is allowing GMO food grown everywhere, allowing toxic chemicals in food. School lunch food, pre-school food is toxic, full of GMO ingredients and their meals are unbalanced. If any of you think that the government is doing this to protect the kids that have severe allergies, you are dead wrong. The government does not give a crap about a child's food allergies. School food is full of toxic crap. Full of additives that can harm children. Full of GMO ingredients. Stop making excuses that the federal government would do this out of concern, because that thought is nothing but a dream. Wherever you are, city or state, look at your health coordinators, most are unhealthy themselves. Ask them questions like, is the boxed school food processed in facilities that have nuts and soy, I will bet they are, Ask them, about starting a farm to school lunch. Ask them, is there organic food, Ask them, about health. They won't allow a parent to bring their own lunch, but they would allow you to bring corporate food in for holiday celebrations. Those corporations don't give a dam about food allergies. I am a parent that has children with food allergies, including peanut. I would never ever trust a teacher or the health coordinator with giving my children food. Time to go outside and release.....

Winter Reminder

Yesterday, we picked lots of tomatoes, laid compost, cut the raspberries, laid more compost, I felt like I was a yellow jacket gathering and preparing before for the ice hit. I could feel it. I pulled the green house plastic sheets out to cover the plants. So, last night before bed it was 48 degrees, this morning we hit 30... What a drop! Today, I just finished pulling all the tomatoes, and I put them in the green house. The queen of ice is here and winter is coming fast.

As I watch nature blanket herself for the winter, her colors remind me, that it is time to pull within, to think, to plan, to sip, to sit, to mediate, the winter blanket colors are a reminder that we all need to learn to rest more, take care of ourselves more, to slow down, to give permission to slow down, to teach our children to slow down, winter is not suppose to be a time that gives depression, it is suppose to rejuvenate your body and soul. When winter hits remind yourself, what winter is truly about. Especially for those of us who live in cold rainy or snowy climates.

Seek Beauty Daily

Tonight, such a beautiful sky, it was hard to come in, (if I did not have to finish canning pear butter I would've stayed out longer). The moon and Venus were big and bright, I sang my night song prayer, giving thanks for many things in my life, for beauty, and for tonight's beautiful skies. As I sang, my horse Kamar stood by me giving me kisses, her eyes wide and ears forward, I think she likes my voice. It was a special moment in my heart to feel such love from my horse. I walked in the circle of life and asked for peace, protection, love and for all to have hearts that smile. It is now time for tea. Tonight's tea, valerian root, licorice root, burdock root, dandelion root, ginger root and some chai mix. Peace to all a

It is an Art and a discipline to let go, to be free, to play, to love, to help, to not be selfish, to eat healthy, to live chemical free, to take care of the earth, to truly be a parent, to be a playful parent, to sleep enough, to eat tons of veggies, yes, this list is an art, it is a dying art, because the human race is losing it's ability to recognize that " In Discipline Lies Freedom"

 Art is an Art within itself, the ability to recognize this art, is within the eyes and heart, of all of those, who see what is the Art Of Letting Go...  To truly have eyes that see and ears that hear, drop the screens, be with nature and jump into the Art Of Letting Go, to understand the meaning "In Discipline Lies Freedom"......

What would you do without Fear? 

What would you do if you had motivation?

What would you do if you were in shape?

What would you do if you did not have a disability?

What would you do if you were full of energy?

Mountain Mama Wellness Box Week Twenty

It is week twenty  of our farm wellness boxes and it is our last harvest day.  It has been a great farming season and we learned a lot.   There were some hard lessons learned and some insightful ones,   

This summer was a green tomato summer, which means a colder winter, I see more darkness and lots of rain... Which means start taking your vitamin D NOW, plan hikes in nature through the fall season and winter.  Hike when it rains, run when it rains, walk in the rain, do kung fu in the rain and dance in the rain.  Embrace the liquid sunshine.  Sungaze at the sunsets when the sun is out, take a moment bundle up and watch the cold starry sky.  Seek art with community, add color to your winter.  

Plan you winter menus  to build up your immune system, by adding energizing bone broth, make elderberry syrup, make fire cider, high vitamin C tea, nettle tea and stay away from SUGAR.... 

Eat organic fermented foods

Get some tinctures made of Elecampane, Oregon grape, echinacea, hawthorn, lemon balm,

Thoughts and talks have been started on new things that we will implement for next year.  But,  I am also very ready for some much needed rest, reading, knitting, crafting, cooking, more canning,  more sleep,  jumping into my herbal studies and making healing remedies.

I will also be teaching some herbal classes, I will put together a schedule soon and send it out.  

Wellness Box:

Nettle, Kale, swiss chard, brassica family, peppermint, lemon balm, catnip mint, stevia, parsley, sage, rosemary, fennel seeds, hawthorn berries, rosehips, kakai pumpkin, acorn squash, sugar pumpkin, onions, celery, and jerusalem artichokes also called sunchokes. 

Rosehips: 

Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 heaping teaspoons of chopped rose hips. You can use rose hips with or without their seeds. Steep the herbal tea, covered, for 15 minutes and strain. Sweeten the refreshing, slightly sour tea with honey, if desired. Drink the tea lukewarm at bedtime for maximum effectiveness.

You could also make this as a strong infusion and steep it for 8 hours. 

Rose hip tea is refreshing, pleasantly tart and contains vitamins A, B, C, E and K, pectin and organic acids. Besides battling colds, the nutrient-rich tea boosts your health in other ways as well. This popular medicinal tea strengthens the body's resistance to infection, reinforces digestive function, combats all kinds of illnesses with fever, flushes out the kidneys and urinary tract and relieves mild rheumatic pain.

When you think of vitamin C, you are most likely to think of grapefruit and oranges. But rose hips, the fruit of the wild rose, have even more vitamin C than do citrus fruits. Rose hips were long known as a food, but only since the mid-twentieth century has their medicinal value as a premier source of the essential vitamin been recognized. The vitamin C content gives rose hip tea its primary benefit, the ability to help prevent and treat colds and flu.

Fennel Cream: 

Use over organic chicken, organic sausage, organic veggies. etc...

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons fennel seeds, crushed

1 large onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons minced garlic

3 large shallots, minced

1/2 cup organic  dry white wine or organic white wine

1 1/2 cups organic chicken broth

1/2 cup  organic whipping cream (Do not use Ultra Pasteurized!) 

Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 teaspoon crushed fennel seeds and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Reduce heat to medium-low. Now add onion and sauté until they are very tender and caramelized, about 40 minutes.   Add minced garlic and minced shallots.  Cook for about 2 minutes

 Add white wine and boil until liquid is reduced to glaze, about 2 minutes. Add chicken broth and whipping cream and boil until reduced to sauce consistency, whisking often, about 5 minutes. Season sauce to taste with salt and pepper.

The Bully Society

First of all, if someone wants to be different, then let them be..... You have been taught to bully them in some sort of fashion.  

All our American life since we were born we have been taught that to be different is wrong.  We have been so brainwashed on this subject it is incredible.  

If you are different from the Masses than, something is wrong with you.  

If you act different from the Masses than, something is wrong with you 

If you believe differently than the Masses, than something is wrong with you. 

Even now the Masses are being taught that if someone has the above characteristic  than they  might even be DANGEROUS!

Mountain Mama Wellness Box 19th Week

Kakai pumpkin, acorn squash, mix of collard greens, swiss chard and kale, Italian brassica leaves, cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, basil, rosemary,green tomatoes, tomatoes, tea mix lemon verbena, comfrey and nettle.

Kakai Pumpkin and Acorn Squash: 

Use the Kakai flesh in soups or bake in an oven to use in muffins, cookies, cakes, or bread recipes.

Acorn Squash

Cut open, clean out seeds

Place in a Pyrex baking dish

Drizzle ( or heavy drizzle) with olive oil, butter, brown sugar, garlic powder, sea salt and pepper

Bake until tender

Last Basil Of The Season

If you have not made the infused olive oil with the basil, you really want to make this one, it is incredibly good!

Let it infuse for about 4 to 6 weeks and then drain.

Green Tomato Dip

A dip for fresh vegetables, a salad dressing for mixed greens, or a sandwich spread.  

Boiling-water bath canner; four 1-pint jars

8 green tomatoes, washed and cored

4 red bell peppers, washed, halved, and seeded

4 large onions, peeled, cut in half

3 cucumbers, peeled, cut into chunks 

1/2 cup sea salt or pickling salt 

2 1/2 cups white wine vinegar

1 cup organic sugar

2 teaspoons celery seed 

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 

1 teaspoon mixed pickling spice 

2 organic eggs

1/2 cup organic white flour

3/4 cup organic olive oil 

Grind the vegetables coarsely, using a hand-turned grinder or pulsating motions in a food processor.  You may also chop the vegetables by hand.  Sprinkle them with the salt. 

Cover and let stand at least 8-12 hours to allow the vegetables to "sweat" 

Drain the vegetables and combine them with 2 1/4 cups of the vinegar, sugar, celery seed, mustard, and pepper.  Add the pickling spice tied in a cheesecloth bag. 

pour the vegetables and seasonings into a nonreactive saucepan.  Cook, simmering over low heat, for 30 minutes.  Combine the eggs, flour, and the remaining vinegar in a food processor.  With the motor running, add the oil by droplets in a  steady stream until the mixture becomes thick and smooth. 

Remove the spice bag from eh vegetables and stir in the egg mixture.  Cook, simmering over low heat, until thick.  This should take 56-10 minutes.  

Ladle into hot, clean jars, leaving 1/2 inch of headspace. 

Cap, seal, and process in a boiling water-bath canner for 10 minutes.

Green Tomato Pickle

4 quarts sliced green tomatoes

6 large onions, sliced

1/2 cup sea salt 

6 cups apple cider vinegar

6 sliced peppers

3 diced sweet red peppers 

6 garlic cloves, minced 

1 tablespoon dry mustard 

1 tablespoon whole cloves

1 stick cinnamon 

1 tablespoon powdered ginger

1/2 tablespoon celery seed 

2 1/4 cups honey 

Combine sliced green tomatoes and onions.  Sprinkle with salt.

Let mixture stand for 12 hours. 

Wash in clear water and drain. 

Heat vinegar to the boiling point, and add the peppers and red peppers and garlic. 

Then add the tomato-onion mixture. 

Tie the spices in a square of cheesecloth and drop into the mixture.  

Simmer for about 1 hour, or until tomatoes are transparent, stirring frequently. 

Then add the honey

Pour into hot jars, leaving 1/4 -inch headspace, and process quarts 15 minutes and pints 10 minutes in a boiling-water bath.

In this weeks Mountain Mama Wellness letter I decided to give information in a variety of ways. How you can invest in your health care?  Investing in your health care now is what will give you a better future.  

Not only is it a better future for your health, but, also for the oceans, rivers, the air you breath, the soil, the animals, birds and bees. 

If you were looking for a retirement plan, looking for a house to buy, etc. you would have a list of needs, things that are important, you want to make sure you have a strong foundation and a good roof over your head.  

Correct? 

How is it humans do not apply this to their own health? 

Why do they continue to put bad investments into their body.  By eating out, not eating enough veggies or no veggies.   Eating GMO Food.  Eating foods that are high in pesticides.  

Why do humans continue to let their kids eat toxic food?  Food with artificial colors, high sugar, artificial flavors, toxic food additives and preservatives.

No matter how positive you are, how enlightened you try to be, how much Buddha you put in your life, you are still contributing to a very negative energy to the earth,  to your physical  body, to your spirit and  to your mind, by supporting bad food, bad agriculture, eating GMO foods, eating artificial colors and the toxic food list goes on and on.  

Taking Care Of Your Body

When it comes to taking care of your body, I really can't say it enough, support your local organic farmers, eat your veggies, stop eating at restaurants that do no support local farmers, stop eating at restaurants that use GMO oil for their cooking,  You want to starve cancer cells not grow them.. 

Find out what your food allergies are.  Then stay away from those foods..

Exercise is a must "NO Excuses"  For you and your kids, 5 to 7 days a week.  

Your heart, needs community.  You community needs you. 

Help others that are in need 

Stop consuming. There are only two categories when it comes to consuming

 Ask yourself is it a "Need" OR A "Want"
