In feverish conditions, sage is very cooling , use it for colds and for easing hot flushes during the menopause. Sage leaves rubbed on the teeth will deodorize the mouth and strengthen the gums. Honey Sinus Pack At Night
A great treatment to stimulate the sinus area and is a great facial treatment
Hands and face must be completely dry.
Spread a small amount of honey over facial area. Massage and Pat honey for 5 minutes, especially over the sinus area. Under the eyes, around the nose, under the nose, between the eye brows and the temples. Do this vigorously. Skin should get stretchy and elastic-like while you or patting (poking). Be patient and do not rush this process. If done right there will be relief from the congestion. Try this two to three times a day.
Golden Seal In, Or Should I Say Up The Nose....
I rarely use Golden Seal and when I do it is because there is an infection or possible infection. Golden Seal is on the endangered list, so please only use it when it is truly necessary
Make a decoction of Golden Seal. Let it cool. Breathe a nostril full, up your nose. It'll burn slightly. This does relive sinus congestion...
